King Fish/ Butter Fish 1kg (Sliced)

KINGFISH / Indo-Pacific King Mackerel are popular for their firm, white, slightly oily flesh and medium strong taste. They are highly valued as a sashimi fish but are also excellent grilled or BBQ'd. Like other 'meaty' fish, they are best when seared and cooked only to Medium Rare, as further cooking will result in a dry product.

It is also known by names, such as , such as 'Naimeen, Vanjiram, kattayancheela, Cheela, Varimeen' in Tamil, 'Vanjaram, Neymeen, Anjal, Ayakoora Fish' in Malayalam, 'Vanjiram,Konema,Peddah-mottah' in Telugu, 'Madusa, Muddus, Sakla, Sakala' in Marathi.

Make sure to place your order by Sunday evening & your entire order will be delivered on Wednesday for LS,BD,HX & WF and on Thursday for the rest of the postcodes.

Freshly caught fish of weight 1kg will be cleaned and sliced.

The weight of the fish will be reduced once it is cleaned. After cleaning the 1kg fish it will be 700g to 800g (Cleaning wastage will be 20%- 30%).
